    Early Life and Education

    Rachid Ghannouchi was born on June 22, 1941, in the village of El Hamma, Tunisia.

    Growing up in a rural area with limited access to education and resources, Ghannouchi faced challenges from a young age. Despite these obstacles, he pursued education at the local Zaytouna school and later moved to France for higher studies at the prestigious Sorbonne University.

    Time Abroad

    After completing his studies in France, Ghannouchi traveled and worked in Europe for several years, taking on jobs as a grape picker and a dishwasher.

    These experiences exposed him to different cultures and broadened his perspectives.

    Role in the Tunisian Revolution

    Upon his return to Tunisia in 1979,
