A proud mother and ally of my son Jai, who is part of the LGBTQ community and a professional choreographer & dancer.
Being surrounded by my family is something I am extremely grateful for. I identify as Afro-Latina and first-generation Puerto Rican. Although New York is my first home, the call of my ancestors draws me back to my mother island as often as time allows.
